Edifying the youth , Rectifying the history.

“Old men can make war, but it is children who will make history.”
Creativity blooms when a child is freed from all boundations of a specific thinking pattern and is made to stroll on the street of curiosity, originality and creation. Young minds tend to think and learn multiple times faster than adults. Adult minds are made to 'perform' whereas young minds are made to 'learn'. The skills which one learns in the early years of life, become the building blocks for any and every future project that he undertakes.

Quilling is an art that is carried out by paper which is rolled and shaped into various shapes and designs. Quilling is an art that promotes patience and creativity among children as the strips used while performing the art are very varied in sizes and each production takes in a lot of time to reach perfection.
Quilling, is a beautiful art, if explored properly can expand into producing a variety of useful material such as keychains, bookmarks, paperclips, fridge magnets, greeting cards and a lot of other stationery items.
Various children from backward areas in Delhi are learning this art and several teenagers aging from 14-19 years are pursuing it as a source of income. Little children are learning the art and are making
ornaments, greetings cards and stationery items which instills in them a skill and. a sense of satisfaction and learning. The monetary incentive that follows the making and selling of these handicrafts, inspires the youth to take up the course of these unexplored art mediums that have long been forgotten and earn a living out of them. Various families now earn their bread and butter from the handicraft industry, making it a huge source of revenue generation in the motherland of India.
Products, as these, are sacred and more beautiful than the regular ones available in the market as the
future of young children is associated with the skill and motivates them to carry it forward.

A little help and motivation as we try and fund their self-crafted products does not burn a hole in our
pocket but certainly pushes them to become self sufficient in their lives. The future of the country, as we see, is a matter of huge concern; this concern can only be waived off when skilled individuals ready to earn their own meals without being dependent step out to conquer and attain.

India is the home to over 600 million youngsters and if each one of them pledges to lend the other a skill and not a helping hand, a platform, and opportunity and not a sense of pity, India is sure to rise!
Let us make this a learning playground for children as their young minds dwell on creativity and their hunger is satiated by satisfaction which follows as they learn newer things each day filling their pockets not with coins but with skills and experiences that lead them to lead India and make history like they always had and they always will! We all must come together and support the local handicraft industry that has been dying and help it revive and help it Sustain not only its future but the future of our nation!

  1. “Our children are the rock on which our future will be built, our greatest asset as a nation.”

    This is an ebullient thought!

It’s not only about earning but also learning. If we won’t take the required steps for their development, then this would be equivalent to not doing justice with our own country!

They are the pillars on which our county relies!
